The Copperwood Restaurant has been managed by the Schwager family since 1983. During this time, the restaurant has won several awards, including Restaurant & Catering Association & The Sunday Times Award and the Gold Plate Award.

Recently renovated, the Copperwood now has 2 different sections to choose from. Open everyday from noon till late is our newly established Tapas Wine Bar, where you may select from a variety of smaller tasting plates (Tapas - such as fried camembert in sesame seed with cranberry jelly, and spicy fish cakes with tomato kasundi), and more casual dining (such as Spanish Paella, and home made pie). While our restaurant still offer an extensive a-la-carte menu with over 20 dishes all available in both entree and main course sizes. There is always a broad choice of meals, including seafood, red meats, chicken and offal. Examples of some of our popular dishes are north west prawns cutlets wrapped in bacon, served with Worcestershire sauce, and huge 1/2 kg Rib Eye steak on the bone, served with grilled Bickey field mushroom filled with tomato and camembert.

The Copperwood is fully licensed with a large selection of premium Australian wines, ranging from Taylors to Henschke and Penfolds.

During the summer months, you can choose to dine in our picturesque courtyard setting. When it gets cooler, snuggle around our open log fires and enjoy the cosy atmosphere.

Every month sees The Copperwood specialising in an event. In the past, these have included a red wine dinner (highlighting Penfolds Grange), a Champion Yarn Spinning show and dinner, and Oktoberfest - a Sunday afternoon featuring a German barbecue and German beers.
