The Kalamunda
Community Learning Centre (KCLC) is a non-profit organisation
offering a variety of subjects in a non-threatening environment. The
Centre's philosophy is "Learning through Sharing", and its
co-ordinators, tutors and workgroup leaders are all volunteers. By
requesting that all members (people doing courses) give a small
amount of time to workgroups, the Centre is able to keep course fees
to a minimum.
A professionally
staffed free creche run on a roster basis for children between the ages of six weeks and five years is available for members when attending the Centre.
Class times are 9.45am
to 11.45am and 12.45pm to 2.45pm Monday to Friday. Some classes -
mainly Book Clubs - are held on Tuesday & Wednesday
evenings.
Enrolments are made in person at the Pavilion at Jorgenson Park (off Mundaring Road) see dates below, from 9.30am to 2.30 pm. Fees are payable on enrolment. Membership levy of
$ 5.00 per semester. Class levies apply to some classes.
There is wheelchair access to the centre.
